In order to grow our London team of asset managers, we are looking for a

Trainee/Analyst*.

THE ROLE

You will work alongside other transactors based in London and at the Group’s headquarters in Frankfurt/Offenbach where you will be involved in all aspects of asset finance. Your main focus will be on Aviation. The position will include:
 

  • Financial Modelling: Creating detailed cash flow models and performing sensitivity analyses
  • Asset Acquisition: Supporting the acquisition of real assets
  • Portfolio Management: Assisting the asset management teams with portfolio restructuring, divestment, remarketing, secondary market trade, and ad-hoc projects
  • Asset Analysis: Understanding factors that affect valuations over an asset’s life cycle.
  • Credit Analysis: Reviewing industries, markets, sectors; analysing historical company financials and preparing projections
  • Equity Origination: Supporting investor coverage by creating and updating the technical, quantitative and graphical content of transaction materials
  • Debt Sourcing: Working with lenders to appropriately leverage assets
  • Transaction Execution: Summarising investment information memoranda concisely and supporting transaction documentation
  • Cross-Industry Exposure: Providing support to the Real Estate and Renewables teams on an ad-hoc basis

ABOUT YOU

  • You have recently graduated or already have first experience in finance
  • You hold a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in a numerate discipline from a world-class university.
  • You have Excel cash flow modelling capabilites
  • You possess strong numerical, analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
  • You demonstrate great attention to detail
  • You are a self-motivated team player able to familiarize yourself with new topics
  • You have an excellent command of written and spoken English; a foreign language, preferably German, is a plus
  • Being an aircraft/aviation enthusiast is also a plus
